Mae Prosiect y Blaenau wedi sefydlu cysylltiad gydag Ysgol y Moelwyn.
Gofynnodd y Prosiect i’r Ysgol gynllunio logo ar gyfer y grwp, a gobeithir y bydd yr Adran Gelf yn cyflwyno cynlluniau i roi gerbron cyfarfod nesaf y Prosiect ar ōl y Pasg. Dywedodd y Cadeirydd, Maldwyn Williams, “Bu Mel ap Iorwerth yn gweld y Dirprwy Brif Athro, Iolo Owen, yn ddiweddar nid yn unig i drafod creu logo, ond, hefyd, i weld a oedd yn bosibl cael cysylltiad ffurfiol rhwng bwriadau’r Prosiect a’r cwricwlwm cyfredol. “Eisoes mae rhai disgyblion yn defnyddio’r safle we ar gyfer gwaith prosiect, a thrwy gyd-drefnu, gallant hwy a’r Prosiect elwa.”

Mewn cyfarfod dydd Iau diwethaf adroddwyd bod Cyfnod Un – casglu archif o luniau – yn symud ymlaen yn dda. Trafodwyd cyflwyno Cyfnod Dau a phenderfynwyd, oherwydd bod yr ail gyfnod yn golygu casglu gwybodaeth a gweithiau llaw, y dylid rhannu eto i greu trydydd rhan.
Bydd Cyfnos Dau yn cychwyn cyn gynted ā phosibl ac yn cynnwys casglu gwybodaeth oddi fewn i’r Grwpiau Arbennig a restrir yn nogfen y Prosiect. Gyda hyn mewn golwg, gwahoddwyd Cymdeithas Hanes Bro Ffestiniog i ofyn i’w haelodau i gynorthwyo i gydgordio’r Grwpiau Arbennig. Gobeithir y ceir ymateb ffafriol er mwyn medru cael arweinydd i bob grwp. Eisoes mae Rhian Williams wedi gwirfoddoli i gymryd gofal o’r grwp yn ymwneud ā hanes crefyddol yr ardal a’r mannau addoli. Bydd Mel ap Iorwerth yn cydlynu’r adran ar Chwaraeon a Hamdden.
Cyfnod Tri, felly, fydd casglu dogfennau a gweithiau llaw, a bydd yn rhaid i hyn aros hyd y bydd adeilad ar gael fel canolfan i’r Prosiect.

The Blaenau Project has initiated a link with Ysgol y Moelwyn.
The Project have asked the school to design a logo for the group and it is hoped that the Art Department will provide a few designs to put to the Project’s next meeting after Easter.
Project Chairman Maldwyn Williams said “Mel ap Iorwerth recently met with Deputy Headmaster Iolo Owen not only to discuss the creation of a logo but to see if a formal link could be formed between the Project’s aims and the current curriculum. “Already some pupils are making use of the website for project work and with co-ordination both pupils and the Project could benefit.”
At a meeting last Thursday it was reported that Phase One – the collation of an archive of photographs – was moving at a good pace. The introduction of Phase 2 was discussed and a decision made that, as the second stage included the gathering of both information and artefacts, it should be split to include a third section.

Phase Two will commence as soon as possible and will cover the gathering of information within the Special Groups outlined in the Project document. With this in mind Cymdeithas Hanes Bro Ffestiniog has been invited to ask its members to assist in co-ordinating each Special Group. It is hoped that the result will be a positive one so that a leader can be named for each group. Rhian Williams has already volunteered to manage the section on the religious history of Blaenau and the accompanying places of worship. Mel ap Iorwerth will co-ordinate the section on Sport and Recreation.
The collection of documents and artefacts will now be within the remit of Phase Three which will be put on hold until premises are available as a base for the Project.

NEW PHOTOS ON THE SITE.
New galleries will soon be available which will be allocated under each Project section. Approximately 60 photos of Blaenau football teams will be loaded soon and we hope to receive more in the near future. The photos are currently being examined with a view to identifying the persons shown and we hope that visitors to the site will be able to assist us in this task.
Initially the photos will not have captions as we need to load the site to keep users up to date.

WE NEED ASSISTANCE
At the moment we are a small team trying to keep the momentum running as interest continues to increase. We do, however, need volunteers to help with small but important segments of the work.

1. Membership Secretary - to log in new members and help canvass for more.
2. Marketing Manager - to promote the Project and to take on the task of finding local advertisers on the website.
3. Translators - we are endeavouring to ensure everything is done equally in both Welsh and English on the site and translators are required to help speed up the provision of documentation in both languages.
4. News Editor - we intend to set-up a Local News, Sport and Events page updated at least twice weekly. Mel is arranging for local sports clubs to provide reports, results etc and local associations will be asked to submit details of their events and future plans and events. The Editor will prepare the info for uploading.

LLUNIAU NEWYDD AR Y SAFLE
Bydd orielau newydd ar gael yn cyn bo hir wedi eu lleoli o dan bob adran or project. Bydd tua 60 o luniau tīm pel droed Blaenau yn cael eu llwytho cyn bo hir a rydym yn gobeithio derbyn mwy yn y dyfodol. Ar y funud rydym yn edrych ar y lluniau er mwyn enwi’r chwaraewyr, a rydym yn gobeithio y bydd ymwelwyr a’r safle yn gallu ein helpu gyda’r dasg. Ni fydd pennawdau ar y lluniau i ddechrau gan ein bod angen cael y lluniau ar y safle yn gyntaf.
Byddwn yn ddiolchgar pe taech yn amyneddgar tra fod y gwybodaeth rydym wedi ei dderbyn yn cael ei roi ar y safle.
RYDYM ANGEN CYMORTH
Ar y funud mae gennym dim bach yn trio cynnal y momentwm gan fod ddiddordeb yn y prosiect yn parhau i gynhyddu. Rydy’m fodd bynnag yn dal i fod angen gwirfoddolwyr i helpu gyda’r gwaith mān ond pwysig

1. Ysgrifennydd Aelodaeth - i gofnodi aelodau newydd a chanfasio am fwy o aelodau
2. Rheowlr Marchnata - i hyrwyddo’r Prosiect a chael hyd i hysbysebwyr lleol i’r wefan.
3. Cyfieithydd - rydym yn ymdrechu i sicrhau for popeth yn cael ei roi ar y we
yn Gymraeg a Saesneg a mae angen cymorth i baratoi’r dogfennau yn ddwyieithog.
4. Golygydd Newyddion - Rydym yn gobeithio sefydlu tudalen Newyddion Lleol,
Chwaraeon a Digwyddiadau a fydd yn cael ei ddiweddaru ddwywaith yr wythnos. Mae Mel yn trefnu gyda’r clybiau chwaraeon lleol eu bod nhw yn paratoi unrhyw adroddiad, canlyniadau a.y.b a mi fydd yn gofyn i gymdeithasau lleol roi manylion iddo am unrhyw ddigwyddiad a’u cynlluniau yn y dyfodol. Bydd y Golygydd yn paratoi’r gwybodaeth i’w roi ar y we.
